Simply put...I love taking pictures of people. When I decided to change my creative focuses from graphic design (15 years of it) to Photography in 2011, I started out with landscapes and macrophotography (super close-ups of flowers and stuff). But I found I was always looking for something alive in the image to make it interesting. So this quiet girl decided to try photographing people...and a new love was born.
Photography began as a hobby, it turned into a passion, and is now a thriving business. Senior Pictures quickly became my favorite thing. I love getting to know each and every client...finding out who you are now, who you want to be, and where you want to go. I have never photographed a single person who I didn't find beautiful....inwardly and outwardly. The most common response I get from a senior I have photographed is that they felt comfortable with me. I take that as a huge compliment and I know it is why I am able to find their personality through my lens.
When I am not photographing people, I am a wife and mom to 4 beautiful daughters of my own. We try to balance our lives between our careers and the kids' activities, keeping God at the center of it all. Life is busy, as you know. I can relate. Senior Photos are a way to make that time stand still just for a moment...when you look back on this time in 5, 10 even 20 years from now, you will always be happy you did.
xoxo, Sherri
